To soothe every sad soul, I'd recommend to each and every one of them a marvelous summer vacation to Capri. Sadly, many of us poor fools cannot afford that.
However, the lovely and whimsical chain store giant, Anthropologie, brings us a candle that conjures up swirls of Capri in your living room. The Capri Blue Volcano candle sells for about $12 (for the small size) or $28 (for the large size) and the scent lingers all day. With enough of an imagination and some shut-eye, images of crisp Mediterranean waters, white sand, black asphalt mountains in the distance, sun-drenched wine-soaked days, and a great white contrast will appear in your head.
PROS: Smells AMAZING. Doesn't induce headaches like many other usual candles.
CONS: Can be pricey.
